Karla spends her time and effort to remain a strong supporter and volunteer in the Kansas City community. 

She is the CEO of SHINE ON Music, LLC. providing young, up-and-coming artists the tools to develop their music career successfully and safely in a digital world.

She performs with an eclectic instrumental music group comprised of accomplished professional Kansas City jazz artists who are also experienced, music educators, and composers: Roger Wilder - piano, Robert Tribitt III - piano, Dave Panico - saxophone, James Albright - upright bass, Stanton Kessler - trumpet, and Doug Auwarter - drums.
