She performs with an eclectic instrumental music group comprised of accomplished professional Kansas City jazz artists who are also experienced, music educators, and composers: Roger Wilder - piano, Robert Tribitt III - piano, Dave Panico - saxophone, James Albright - upright bass, Stanton Kessler - trumpet, and Doug Auwarter - drums.

Bauer to perform for 30,000 fans! To ensure the spiritual background of this event is not forgotten, an Ascension Day service will be held in the Marktkirche with a 100+ person workshop choir of the Gospelkirche under the direction of Bauer. Following the service Karla and musician, Greg Carroll, CEO of Midnight Blue Jazz will be representing Kansas City at the 2018 Enercity Swinging Hanover festival.
